What to Expect

Your all-inclusive package is crafted to immerse you in the fly fishing lifestyle, with every detail handled so you can focus on the fish and the camaraderie:

Guided Fishing: Each fishing day (8 hours) is led by our seasoned guides, targeting trophy brown trout, rainbows, and more with techniques suited to the river’s conditions. Strip streamers like the Deep Fry or Grindylow in deep runs, nymph with sow bugs and midges in riffles, or cast dry flies during caddis and mayfly hatches. We provide all gear—rods, reels, flies, and drinks so you’re ready to fish the White’s dynamic flows or the Little Red’s serene pools.

Comfortable Lodging: Relax in hand-picked accommodations near the rivers—think rustic cabins or modern lodges with cozy beds and easy access to fishing sites. Designed for groups, these stays offer a welcoming retreat after a day on the water.

Hearty Meals: Enjoy three meals daily, prepared to fuel your adventure. Start with coffee and hearty breakfasts, savor riverside lunches on fishing days, and unwind with Southern-style dinners, from grilled specialties to comfort food, with dietary needs accommodated upon request.

Rivers and Fishing Experience: The Little Red River, home to world-record browns, offers tranquil runs and riffles ideal for nymphing and dry fly fishing, while the White River’s 100-mile stretch delivers diverse conditions for streamers and consistent hatches.

Hosted Trips Option: Contact us to discuss special incentives for group organizers bringing 8 or more anglers.

Perfect for corporate retreats, family reunions, or special occasions, hosted trips add a unique, personal touch to your Ozark escape.

What to Bring

We provide all fly fishing gear, but here’s what you should bring for a comfortable trip:

Arkansas Fishing License and Trout Permit: Required for all anglers, available online at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission website.

Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Pack layers for variable Ozark weather—quick-dry pants, moisture-wicking shirts, a fleece, and a rain jacket. Temperatures can wildly range during the day. It is better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Waders and Boots: If you have waders or boots so make sure to bring them for the White’s drifting or Little Red’s wading. Felt-soled or rubber boots are best for slick rocks.

Hat, Sunglasses, and Sunscreen: Polarized sunglasses are essential for spotting fish in clear water, and a hat and sunscreen protect against the sun.

Personal Items: Bring a water bottle, any medications, and toiletries. A small backpack or dry bag keeps items secure on the river.

Camera or Phone: Capture trophy catches and river views—consider a waterproof case for protection.
